My favourite snake

 
These are the venomous cobras. They have scales on there body , they are very scary and dangerous.There are about twenty-nine hundred different kind of snakes in the world.Some people think that all  snakes are venomous. But in fact , only a few hundred kinds of snakes are venomous.Snakes are cold blooded, they are more active in the warm weather, their body temperature always change according to the climate .

Should zoos be allowed ??

"Should zoos be allowed ?" This was the topic in the class this morning.

Mom says that zoos should be allowed.But I say that zoos should not be allowed. Now, lets look at our   arguments and you be the judge. Okay?!

HZ : Zoos should not be allowed because the animals do not  have freedom and space to exercise.

Mom: Most zoos provide good conditions for the animals.

HZ : The zookeepers might hurt and forget to feed them.

Mom : Most of the zookeepers are well-trained and friendly to the animals.

HZ : The animals can't hunt for their preys in the natural habitats and can't learn more. They must eat whatever the zoo keepers give and the water is not as clean as in the forest.

Mom : Zoo is a safer place for animals to live.Animals in the zoo are taken care by the experts who know well about the animals.

HZ : Some animals live in dirty cages and habitats.Some of the visitors throw rubbish in their habitats.Hahahihihuhuhehehohoh.

Mom : The zoos should set the rules and put up the the signboards and reminders to protect the animals. Nowardays, a lot of animals habitats are polluted but zoos can be a better place to live.

HZ : But it is not natural for them. For example, they use heater  and  air-conditioner for the animals. Such as heater for the alligators and snakes and air-conditioner for penguins and  turtle or torties. It is destroying to the nature. hah

Mom : ...May be I should say zoos are good for those endanger species like the pandas. 

HZ : The zookeepers will hurt them more when they catch the pandas from the jungle.

Mom : ...........Stuck !!

Pyjama day

This Thursday is the pyjama day !:). Guess what happen ? The teachers and friends wear pyjamas to school, you cant believe it !!!

In the morning, we are listening to the story read by my friends' mummy. You can see in the pictures. The guy that is walking towards my friend is call Keitaro Ando, my Japanese classmate, those who are sitting down my classmate (from left ) Denis, Kelly, Louis, Grace and Alex B.They are a wearing pyjama ! My mom help up also, she made hot chocolate for us, we all enjoy the hot chocolate very much! :)

Ah! there is a big rat in  the classroom ! Who is that ? Wow!check it out ?! It is Geronimo Stilton, the rat in the classroom! My friend Marcus is asking Geronimo a question.The guy sitting down with glasses is  Ryan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome story book

THIS WEEK IS READING WEEK! I read about Pompeii ! Look! This is the picture of "the old buried"  pompeii!

This is the map shows POMPEII's location
















It was buried underground, there was a mountain called Vesuvius, it is a volcano. There was a small town called Pompeii where people lived happily ! :) It errupted in one afternoon. There were thousands of people killed ! :(

A worker found the buried town when he dug underground and they knew that was " the old buried" POMPEII after they read about the story written by Pliny.
