Ancient Egypt

We talked about  Ancient Egypt in the classroom last week. We read about Pharoah, Pyramids and the Nile River. I like the topics so much that I want to know more about it.

I even drew two pictures of pharoah......Tutankhamun ,one at home an another in the school. Tutankhamun is the most famous Egyptian phraoah or king. His tomb was discovered in the Valley of the Kings in November 1922, 3,000 years after he died. He became a pharoah at the age of 9. Oh my god, I'm 9 too. I can be a king now ! :) But too bad, he died young at the age of 18 :( ..I feel sad that he didn't enjoy life much.)
His tomb was found by British archaeologist Horward Carter and Lord Carnavon. The two smarties. He was a mummy when found.(NOT MY MOMMY!) They found a lot of fabulous treasures in the tomb. (Give me some !) They say he could be murdered but nobody knows how he died. What a pity...col ( cry out loud)

Scroll down for test time ...

When did Tutankhamun be a king ?

  1. HZ, what a beautiful mask...Just like King Tut, you are the "king" in your mom's heart! we'd been to King Tut's tomb collection exhibition in Cairo Museum, it is the greatest Pharaoh's collection i'd ever seen. One day, you must go Egypt to witness the fascinating ancient civilization and Egyptian Mythology yourself. Have you learnt about all the God and Goddesses of Egypt? Oh Ya, there is a fiction by Rick Riordan (author of Percy Jackson series) write about the adventure @ Egypt ~~ The Red Pyramid. You may like it too!
